Olive wood
- Hand-wash in warm, soapy water and dry right away with a towel.
- Never soak, and never put olive wood in the dishwasher or microwave.
- Every few weeks, rub in a little food-safe mineral oil or olive-wood oil to keep it glowing.
- If the surface feels rough, smooth it with fine sandpaper and re-oil.
Cotton bedding & towels
- Wash before first use to remove finishing and boost softness.
- Machine-wash warm with similar colours; avoid bleach and fabric softener on towels (it reduces absorbency).
- Tumble dry low, or line dry for a crisp feel. Remove promptly to reduce creasing.
- Natural cotton may shrink slightly (up to 3%) on the first wash.
Clothing
Always follow the care label sewn into each garment. As a rule, wash delicates cold on a gentle cycle, turn printed pieces inside out and lay knits flat to dry.
